OUR 28TH YEAR
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What Happens Now?
You've been receiving, and we hope, reading Goaline for 4 years. We've
enjoyed producing and sharing it with you. And to those of you who have
responded to us directly, thank you.
This will be the last issue for a while. What's a while? We don't know.
What we do know is that birthing GoalTrak PV and nurturing it to
maturity is taking much of our time and effort. Servicing our Strategic
Development consulting clients requires significant focus and
commitment. We prefer to under promise and over deliver.
Our Mission has always been to ". . . aid the leaders of organizations
in developiing the full potential of their people. . ." This hasn't
changed. Only the manner in which we fulfill our mission changes. The
strategy we use to make our Vision a reality may change. The goals we
create to implement the strategy, they change. At this time, the goals
don't include the continuation of "Goaline, Goals & People."
Several factors influenced our decision making on this important issue:
First, email has become difficult to deal with for both the sender and
recipient. Spam filters and blockers, overwhelming volume and apathetic
recipients are just a few of the issues that must be dealt with.
Second, identifying a meaningful topic and composing a readable essay
entails much more than sitting in front of a computer and laying fingers
on keys. This process has started to become a chore for us. Better to
stop it now, before our readers also find it a chore.
Third, our other vocations, avocations, businesses and life in general
have intruded on our journey down the literary road. We have seen other
paths that need exploration.
Webologs, (blogs), have become the vogue, and we may pursue that medium
to maintain communication with our readers. This vehicle, too, demands
constant attention, so we're not sure it will happen. Our time,
attention and stamina are limited. Our choices must be made with care.
Below, you will find a few links to our web sites where you will find
information concerning our offerings. We hope you take advantage of
them. If you do, please let us know. We'd appreciate hearing from you.
Regrds to all,
Rich Lewine
